Para os chineses, tomar chá é ritual. Tem cerimônia, festa, culto. Tem porcelanas específicas e instrumentos milenares. Para nós, ocidentais, falta um pouco da calma e do respeito, acredito. Há a pressa habitual e o descuido por consequência. Assim, deixamos passar um tanto do gosto e da história envolvidos em uma xícara.
Embora exista diferença nos costumes, é preciso atentar para as peças-chave utilizadas no processo de feitura do chá. Se você viaja muito – ou mesmo para o trabalho – bom sempre é levar suas folhas de preferência para uma infusão emergencial. Guardadas de forma adequada (envolvidas em uma embalagem que pode ser um saco plástico e, se possível, fechado em uma lata, neste caso, pequena) podem salvar o dia. Dispense os saquinhos de chá que, geralmente, reservam ervas de qualidade inferior.
O infusor também é essencial. Pequeno, como o que vocês poderão conferir no vídeo, pode ser transportado para qualquer lugar facilmente. Um tanto egoísta, já que faz apenas uma medida por vez, vai bem quando o momento pede praticidade. Ah! E não esqueça a medida. A bendita colherinha é que vai dar tom ao sabor final.
Pensando nos objetos que utilizamos na preparação do chá, fiz um vídeo – que ficou um tanto engraçado, para não dizer tosco – que apresenta os itens principais para que sua degustação não seja menos importante que a dos tradicionais chineses.
